We might need to refer to your data after you finish volunteering with us. We may need some of this information to safeguard your health and others in case of emergency whilst volunteering with us.

Some of the information you have given us in this form to record on our database is classed as ‘sensitive data’ according to Data Protection regulations 2018 for example your religious beliefs and criminal records.

If you are applying for a role involving contact with children and vulnerable adults, you will be required to undergo a DBS criminal records check, and we will need to process and keep some further personal and sensitive information about you for the purposes of child protection and safeguarding. We will be in touch to give you further information about this once we receive your application form.

Money4YOU does not share your data with any other charity, public body or commercial organisation. We may need to share your personal information if required by law or if requested by a law enforcement agency in the prevention or investigation of crime. And where it is more cost effective and efficient for us to use a third party to deliver a product or service on our behalf. But once you have begun volunteering, we may share some of your information with schools, parishes and Money4YOU Volunteers so that they can fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities and to allow you to communicate with them and carry out your volunteer role.

We will only keep your personal information only for as long as we need to fulfil the purposes of selection to volunteer and during volunteering with us.
